In his recent remarks the UDA chairman, Johnson Muthama has composed a special letter to ODM, and Raila. In his letter he made accusations of what happened yesterday at Kondele. He stated that ODM has sponsored goons to carrying out the looting and vandalising of vehicles. Ruto had faced a similar challenge today after Oscar Sudi’s vehicle was today stoned at Migori. Muthama claimed that it is barbarism and it should end soon.
Muthama said that the stoning of Ruto and his convoy is a complete wake up call for Kenyans that ethnic and divisive politics are still rooted among Kenyans. He accused the police of making a lame statement that they had warned Ruto and his allies. The vocal UDA ally said that UDA had been committed to peaceful campaigns and had warned its members that any act of violence would make them disqualified ahead of the 2022 elections. He said that weeks ago Jimi Wanjigi had been stoned in Migori. The incident at Kondele has now turned out to be blame games between the UDA and ODM allies. However, the big question is who is to carry the cross?
