An Opinion Poll has been conducted by local media House Kenyan.co.ke to alledge the percentage popularity of both Orange Democratic Movement Party leader Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto ahead of the August polls in Central Kenya.
Being a high end vote region,it is observed that most of the recent campaign have been directed to the Mt Kenya region.This has been more intense after Raila picked Martha Karua as his running mate .
The poll which was conducted online through twitter has alledged that if election were to be held today,then Deputy President William Ruto would have garnered the most number of votes .
The poll shows that Deputy President William Ruto has the highest rating of 67 percent of the total respondents while Raila Odinga would have garnered 33 percent.
There has been a debate on who is currently gaining momentum in the Mt Kenya region with the recent intense campaigms in the region.
