CS Matiang'i, Kibicho, General Kibochi All Missing As Kinyua Gives A Short Presser After Ruto's Win

Several leaders were today missing as Assumption of Office of the President Committee, led by chairperson Joseph Kinyua addressing a presser at Harambee House, today on Tuesday.

Unlike on August 12, notable members of the committee were conspicuously missing and they include Interior minister Fred Matiang'i and his Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho, Chief of Kenya Defence Forces Gen Robert Kibochi and National Intelligence Service (NIS) director Philip Kameru among others.

From the video posted by the NTV Kenya on its YouTube channel, Joseph Kinyua thanked Kenyans for maintaining peace during the Electioneering period adding that the Declaration of William Samoei Arap Ruto as the President-elect by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission now gives room for other Constitutional processes to continue.

During his briefing Kinyua was accompanied by Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai among other leaders
