Ruto's Eldoret Rally Lands Governor Linturi In Trouble As DCI Goes For Him On "Madoadoa" Remarks

Meru Senator Honorable Mithika Linturi is in hot water following remarks he made during Ruto's major event in Eldoret, in which he urged Eldoret citizens and the Rift Valley at large to assist him in eliminating Ruto's "Madoadoa" rebels. Senator Linturi informed the people of the Rift Valley that Mt Kenya stands firmly behind the Deputy President, and that the people of the Rift Valley should do the same.

""Sisi tunataka kuwa kwa serikali inayokuja lakini nawaambia watu wa Uasin Gishu msicheze na Kenya na kile nawaomba ni kwamba madoadoa yale mliyonayo hapa muweze kuondoa. Hatuwezi kuwa tukisimama na William Ruto kule Mt Kenya na mko na wengine hapa hawasikii ..." stated Linturi.

Linturi defended his speech, claiming that he meant that people who do not support William Samoei Arap Ruto in the Rift Valley should be punished by regular folks by refusing to vote for them in the much-anticipated August 2022 national elections.

"My message was clear, I don't owe anybody any explaination.Whoever does not support the DP @WilliamsRuto in the region should not be elected."

However, hours after Governor Mithika Linturi's message went viral, the Director of Public Prosecutions issued a notice ordering the Governor to appear in court and write a letter.
