DP Ruto Woos Kirinyaga Residents (Photos)

The second in command, Dr William Ruto has in recent days enhanced his campaigns in the vote-rich mount Kenya region. The deputy president has held several rallies aiming at popularizing the bottom-up economic strategy that the UDA battalion has been advocating for since the handshake occurred a couple of years back.

Today, November 28th 2021, his excellency has erected his tents in Kirinyaga where he is currently holding a rally after a heart touching church service.

While addressing his supporters, Ruto made a major comeback telling people that president Uhuru and he are still great friends and the people of Kirinyaga should expect major economic development for the remaining time.

Ruto also clarified that the unfriendly political environment of the people think exist between them is not a reality since the government, headed by Uhuru is still intact and ready to deliver services for all Kenyans irrespective of their socio-economic or socio-political stands.

" Uhuru and I are still great friends despite the ups and downs we have recently been through. Soon you will see roads being constructed here. Even in 2022, if you allow me to be the president by voting, I assure you, I will deliver services for you," Ruto said.

This move might assure the second in command the votes of the Mount Kenya region since the people atleast are assured that Ruto has their interest at heart. Ruto's words were received well and the final decision now remains in the hands of residents.
