The former Member of Parliament in the Malindi constituency who was nominated by President William Ruto as cabinet secretary of the Public Service and gender has finally appeared in front of the vetting committee today.
During the process, she revealed the people behind the tracking of young girls in the Middle East which has been one of the greatest challenges that Kenyans are facing right now.
The victims which have suffered these are mostly girls who have been raised in a humble background and are desperate in searching for job opportunities to raise their living standards.
Unfortunately, according to previous reports, these girls are being mistreated after arriving where they have been promised a job. For example, Diana Chepkemoi who stopped her education due to lack of school fees became a victim and she confesses that Kenyans are suffering in Saudi Arabia.
The women Members of Parliament are now pushing for President Ruto to ban people from traveling to the Middle East to curb this issue. Today Aisha Juma revealed that this business is run by the most powerful people in this country but she will look for a way to stop it by working closely with the ministry of foreign affairs to recheck the licenses of these agencies.
