Senator Kipchumba Reacts After President Uhuru Condemned Attack on Raila's Chopper

Elgeyo Markwet Senator Onesimus Kipchumba has told off President Uhuru Kenyatta after condemning the recent attack on Raila's chopper in Uasin Gishu at Kibor's burial ceremony.

The president decided to remain taciturn when Ruto's motorcade was attacked in Embakasi and Kenol, the vocal politician has said. In his statement, he has accused the Head of State of coordinating attacks against Ruto, adding that he is upto to something fishy but he won't succeed.

"When DP Ruto team was attacked in Kibera President Uhuru said it’s okey for politicians to be stoned.When DP was attacked in Kenol and Embakasi he was silent.When DP was stoned in Kondele he ordered police to blame it on campaign Money," he stated.

The president, while addressing Pipeline residents, noted that the story would have been different if Raila was injured.

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga's chopper windscreen was damaged after chaos erupted at Kabenes on Friday.

According to preliminary investigation, it is claimed that three politicians allied to DP Ruto were behind the chaos that almost costed Raila's life.

The three politician, Osar Sudi, Caleb Kositany and David Kiplagat were summoned by DCI after they were accused of organizing the mayhem.

Over 14 youths were allegedly arrested in connection with the incident.
