As the country heads to the August 2022 poll, leaders have been in a race to form new political parties and coalitions while others have been ditching their former parties and end up joining other camps. There have been plenty of turns and twists with the latest leader to leave Kenyans talking being Kivutha Kibwana.
That is because the Makueni county Governor publicly confirmed that he pulled out of the presidential race to support Raila Odinga. That announcement left many Kenyans talking and as we are speaking, Kibwana has once again made another announcement in a bid to clear the air.
While speaking to Citizen TV, Kivutha Kibwana decided that there should be no more secrets as he finally revealed who advised him to join Raila Odinga's Azimio La Umoja movement. According to Kibwana, it is his family and other leaders in Makueni who advised him against going for the top seat and instead, join Baba's Azimio team.
