President Kenyatta's speech touched on the progress of the nation including military improvement, building of hospitals, schools and improvement in the Huduma service.
President Kenyatta didn't forget to touch on some constitution amendments that were in the Building Bridges Initiative, BBI which was termed as null and void by the judiciary. He furthermore pointed out that the Bill which failed would have increased county revenue allocation and create a position for opposition leader hence eliminate post election conflicts.
