2022 general election is 10 months away. Kenyans will head to the polls to elect their new leaders who will occupy different elective posts in the next five years. The majority of aspirants have begun early preparations by transversing different parts of the country to popularize themselves with Kenyan voters.
Others have begun moving from one political party to another as they seek ways of securing their seats. However, much attention will focus on the presidential election race where DP Ruto is expected to battle out with his rivals in the upcoming polls.

On Sunday, the Deputy President is expected to be in central Kenya, Meru county as he continues his series of campaigns popularizing himself to voters. The second in command is set to be hosted by Buura member of Parliament Hon. Mugambi Rindikiiri. He confirmed that he will host the DP through his social media platforms.
Being on a Sunday the Deputy President is expected to attend a church service in the region and address Buura residents as he was doing while attending other services in different parts of the country.
Hon. Mugambi Rindikiiri was elected under Jubilee tickets in 2017 but decamped to DP Ruto's Tangatanga brigade as he is supporting his 2022 bid.
The Mount Kenya region has been the battlefield for numerous politicians who wants to vie for the presidency in 2022. Musalia Mudavadi, Raila Odinga, and William Ruto have been frequent visitors in the region in recent months.
