The Building Bridges Initiative has been passed anonymously exceeding the required 24 counties. It is a big win to both the ODM boss Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta who has been strongly advocating for the need to rectify the constitution to suit Kenya’s needs. 

Raila has thankfully shown gratitude’s to the County Assemblies who have played a key role in passing the BBI report in their respective counties. He clears the air that in the next moments, Kenya will be ready to undertake a referendum to ultimately amend the constitution. His passage reads in part as shown below:

Raila called this divining moment Super Tuesday since it was on Tuesday 23th 2021 whereby County Assemblies surpassed the required 24 counties to have the bill proceed to the next level. It was indeed a Super Tuesday.

Following the success of BBI, it was a moment of silence to the anti-BBI group after BBI was passed anonymously in various County Assemblies. Kenyans have taken social media by storm to preach about the success of the BBI. Moreover, the Hustler Force led by the Deputy President William Ruto seemed reluctant in advocating for the passing of the BBI. For this case.
