"Uongozi ni Marathon, Mzee Atakuja Polepole Akupite, " Uhuru Says in Nakuru on 2022 Elections- Video

The 2022 succesion politics continues to intensify,with Deputy President William Ruto and Raila Odinga emerging as the most favorites to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in 9th August 2022 presidential elections.

And now President Uhuru Kenyatta has warned the youthful leaders to be careful even as they seek various elective seats in 2022 general elections.

While talking in Nakuru county,the President said that leadership cannot be achieved by a sprint,but in a marathon way.He also said that even in the leadership race ,the old who can be moving in slowly might pass the youthful one who will still be on the road.

"Youths let us reduce our speed.Leadership achievements have been gotten through sprints but in a marathon way.Even the old can get you on the road, then pass you as you stall there on the road," the President said.


The President could have been referring to DP Ruto,who has been blamed by his critics from starting early campaigns than Raila Odinga.
