Raila Odinga have suffered another massive setback i his bid to win over votes from Mount Kenya region where he is battling thw current deputy president William Ruto for votes. Raila Odinga was told to look for votes in another region and warned that investing in Mount Kenya will be a waste because the Mountain is already into William Ruto ahead of 2022. Rigathi Gachagua, William Ruto’s running mate fired the warning to the former prime minister amid ongoing campaigns by her running mate Martha Karua in the region.
Mount Kenya region is a region considered as vote rich and top politicians are spending their time and resources in order to ensure that they seal their victory come 2022. William Ruto has been named as a kingpin in the region considering the huge amount of supporters and specifically leaders from the region who are currently on his team. Raila Odinga is currently fighting to change the political wave in the region.
