DP Ruto's Top Ally Addresses Rigging Claims At The Bomas Of Kenya, Reveals What To Expect

Deputy President's top ally Kipchumba Murkomen has for the first time spoken while sharing his thoughts about the rigging claims at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission at the Bomas of Kenya.

The United Democratic Alliance camp had been accused by the Azimio La Umoja camp of being behind a rigging attempt at the Bomas of Kenya and in the Mount Kenya region.

In an interview with a local daily, Murkomen has rubbished off those suggestions as propaganda and false rumours that were being spread by their rivals who were struggling to come to terms with losses in respective seats.

Murkomen argued that the success of the Kenya Kwanza in the general elections was evident to see since it had trickled down from the presidential seat to the Members of the county Assembly.

'I think Jeremiah Kioni and others are going through stages of grief. They are now at the stage of denial. By tomorrow or the day after, they will be in acceptance. They are allowed to find a basis for explaining their loss. Losing an election is not an easy thing because it is an investment of five years. It is expected that there will be some sour grapes.' Murkomen argued.
