On Monday, November 29 afternoon, William Ruto officially welcomed her to the party in the event held at his official residence in Karen, Nairobi.
While taking to her social media accounts, Nyamu declared that she will contest for Nairobi Senatorial position in 2022 polls.
"I was honored to be officially endorsed by UDA party to contest for Senator Position in Nairobi county 2022! We fully support Dr William Ruto vision to change our economic model in the interest of Kenyans. Mpango ni Bottom Up!" she posted on her Facebook page.
Previously, news had hit headlines that Nyamu was warming up to decamp to UDA Party perhaps she refuted the claims in ground they were politically circulated by her opponents.
The controversial city lawyer in 2017 general elections vied for Nairobi county women representative position.
Indeed, it will be a plus for William Ruto’s political camp as it will strengthen his support muscles ahead of much anticipated 2022 general elections.
