Nairobi city politician has expressed his concerns on whether Citizen Television's Investigative Journalist Purity Mwambia is set to join politics later just like her predecessor Mohamed Ali (jicho pevu) who forewent investigative journalism for politics.

City politician Alinur Mohamed on his twitter page has applauded guns galore story by Journalist Purity Mwambia saying that it was a very good investigative piece from Citizen Television.
Alinur Mohamed has further asked the government to ensure that the investigative journalism together with her crew should be protected.
He has further said he is hoping that Mwambia will not join politics so that she continues unveiling hidden secrets through investigative journalism.
''That was a very good investigative piece from the Citizen TV crew led by Purity Mwambia. Both Purity Mwambia and the crew should be protected. I also hope that she is not planning to join Politics like Mohammed Ali Jicho Pevu.'' Alinur Mohamed noted on his twitter page.
