ODM Governor Reveals Why He Visited Ruto In State House

The recent move of Kisumu County Governor Anyang' Nyong'o to miss the Azimio rally held by their boss, Raila Odinga in recent weeks sparked reactions after he was spotted at State House with President William Ruto.

Raila had met his supporters at Kamukunji where he alleged to sensitize them against President William Ruto's administration which he alleges wants to revive dictatorship.

However, Anyang' Nyong'o has made his clarification of missing the Azimio rally. He revealed that he was called to the State House to pursue a multi-billion project that will benefit Kisumu and its residents.

Nyong'o alleged they discussed the Sh30 billion project that entails activities that will enable them to fight climate change in Kisumu.

"We discussed the Sh30 billion United Green project coming to Kisumu and how we can pull our resources and synergies to mitigate the effects of climate change," Nyong'o said.

According to him, he needed President William Ruto's approval of the project on climate change which is set to be established in Kisumu. The Sh30 billion project is supported by the United Kingdom government.
