The Independent Electoral and Boundary Commission was forced to halt the counting of votes for the Juja Parliamentary seat after chaos erupted. The Kiambu governor and women representative complained of "stolen" votes.
A few moments ago, Kiambu leaders accompanying the Jubilee candidate, Susan Waititu, have threatened to reject the results. They now want the votes to be recounted one by one. They are advocating for a fresh count of the votes. They also added that they are "the Wanjikus" to decide what should be done

During the previous count, Ndung'u George Koimburi of the Progressive Empowerment Party (PEP) had garnered more votes than other candidates. His competitor, Waititu Susan Njeri of Jubilee Party came second.
The Juja parliamentary seat was declared vacant after the demise of Hon.Waititu.He died of cancer of the brain. May his soul continue dancing with the angels.
If Koimburi wins this election, it will be a plus for the hustler nation and a shame to President Uhuru Kenyatta. What us you're taking on this?
