Ruto has nominated deputy president Rigathi Gachagua's sister-in-law in a government position which has brought a lot of mixed reactions in public. William Ruto has been accused of being tribal in the last few months since he has been appointing people from Kalenjin and Kikuyu communities the government positions. President William ruto has created government offices that are unconstitutional and assigned financial budgets to those offices.

That's communities have felt that they have been abandoned and the president is a symbol of national unity and he should allocate the government position equally across the country. Rigathi Gachagua during interdenominational prayers said that the government position will be first given to those who contributed to their presidential bid.
