As Kenyans are eargely waiting for the historic general elections, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission is keeping them on the tab with the results. Kenyans are following the Presidential provisional results via radio stations ,televisions and social media as well as IEBC's public portal. Although the results are varying from one media house to the next as well as those from IEBC portal, the media houses are however in consultation with the Media Council.According to IEBC several counties had transmitted 100% Form 34A. The counties include Nyeri,Embu, Kirinyaga, Nyandarua, Tharaka Nithi which are in Mt.Kenya region. In Western region Vihiga, Homabay,Nyamira and Siaya.The Eastern regions Makueni county had transmitted Form 34A while Wajir was the only upper Eastern to transmit fully.Total of 99.18% were the form 34A transmitted to IEBC via their portal.IEBC chairman has made it clear that delay in transmission of form 34A was as a result of delay in elections caused by various factors including insecurities as well as failureof KIEMS kits.
