So apparently the By-Elections came to an end today and believe me the newly formed party United Democratic Alliance (UDA) won the election. There was a series of by-elections done in five wards and so far only three are done but the results came back positive for Ruto's allies who were running for the seats. Due to the unexpected demise of the previous leaders, by-elections were held in Rurii ward, Nyandarua constituency, Kisii county, Kuja constituency and Kiambu county.
Ruto's allies managed to beat Uhuru's allies in the elections for the three places where they finished today. The UDA and Jubilee have been on a constant battle for the political seats. Unfortunately for the Jubilee party, their candidate, Peter Thinji came second with 3132 votes to UDA's candidate, Francis Muraya who won the election with 4325 votes as shown in the photos below.
We are yet to know about the results of the other places by tomorrow.
