I'm Competing with Uhuru Not Raila, DP Ruto Tells International Observers

With only 39 days to the August polls, the race has continued to gain new momentum as politicians do all they can to ensure that they win the forthcoming polls.

Today deputy President William Ruto met with the international observers where he seems to have directed his attacks to his boss, president Uhuru Kenyatta. While addressing the observers, Ruto noted that President Uhuru Kenyatta is the chairman of the Azimio coalition and so he's his main competitor in the upcoming polls

In his words, Ruto said that president Uhuru and Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga is one and the same thing as the former is calling shorts in the coalition because he's the chair. The Kenya Kwanza have been calling Raila Odinga a state project because of Uhuru's support.

On the same day, the DP was expected to launch his manifesto setting the ball rolling for the August contest.
