"I Will Be Back From Next Year" Uhuru Sparks Mixed Reactions Among Kenyans After What He Said Today

After promising a young man who asked for permission to run for County Assembly in the upcoming national elections in 2027, former president Uhuru Kenyatta sparked conflicting emotions.

Uhuru vowed to come back while having fun with a lot of kids from orphanages all around Central Kenya, and he also promised to give the young man his blessings in order to help him become an MCA.

Longtime Uhuru supporter and communication specialist Pauline Njoroge, who blogs about Mount Kenya, termed Uhuru a vibe.

Following his successful peace negotiations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo while serving in President William Ruto's Kenya Kwanza cabinet, Uhuru has received praise on a global scale.

Uhuru, on the other hand, received a lot of praise from Kenyans, some of whom said they missed his leadership because he was modest and grounded despite the nation's reputation.
