Aspirant Kenn Gachuma Speaks Out After UDA Withdrew From Juja By-election

Barely hours after United Democratic Alliance party announced that, through their official page, they will not field a candidate in Juja by-election, aspirant Ken Gachuma took to social media to ask his supporters to remain focused as they engage with stakeholders before making a move.
"Our party UDA which was to sponsor us for the by elections on the 18th May 2021 announced its unwillingness to field a candidate in Juja. As such I wish to urge all our supported to remain focused on our set goals as we engage with stakeholders before we make our next move."
He added that, "We must express our dreams and aspirations for change in the society we live in, as we plan for better future for generations to come."
He has further urged his supporters to ignore any information making rounds that he has withdrawn from the race.
"I wish to state here that, I remain a candidate for the 18th May, 2021 Juja by-election and any contrary information should be ignored."
The seat was declared vacant following the death of Juja MP Francis Munyua.
