Gatundu Member of Parliament through his Facebook account revealed that Deputy President Ruto's UDA party was behind the disqualification of his party's candidate for Kiagu Ward Milton Mwenda Kabobo.The party made the petition to the court through the United Democratic Alliance coordinator for South Imeti Salesio Mutuma Thuranira challenging for a disqualification of the Chama cha Kazi candidate.
Mose Kuria has vowed to move to High court on Friday to challenge the disqualification of his party Candidate after the court's decision.
Today,the IEBC disqualified the Chama cha Kazi candidate for Kiagu By-Election Milton Mwenda Kabobo.The party has been asked to submit a replacement candidate.
Kuria said they are dissatisfied with the decision and they will be moving to High court first thing tomorrow morning to challenge the decision.
"Today the IEBC has disqualified the Chama Cha Kazi candidate for Kiagu By-Election Milton Mwenda Kabobo following a petition by the South Imenti UDA Coordinator Salesio Mutuma Thuranira. The party has been asked to submit a replacement candidate.
