The United Democratic party, UDA has been active in its operations, the party secretary general Madam Veronica Maina has been holding high profile meetings in what is seen as establishing the party in preparation for the 2022 general elections.
The party which is making inroads in all parts of the country is likely to be one of the strong parties in Kenya, Deputy president William Ruto has hinted on vying for the presidency on the party, at the same time, several politicians have also expressed their interest in vying for various seats on the party ticket.
Some will be battling for Gubernatorial seats, some parliamentary, senatorial while others member of county assembly seats. As politicians keep positioning themselves, the party has revealed the person interested in vying for the Lamu gubernatorial seat on the UDA ticket.
