The Constitution of Kenya 2010 limites the time a president should stay in office. This is two terms each five years. Had it not been for this restriction, perhaps Kenyans could have elected president Kenyatta a third time. This is due to his hard work in this last term of his leadership.
He has launched many projects in the country. Some of this projects are those launched in Kisumu prior to the Madaraka day and others at the coast. As the president does his best to establish his legacy, Kenyans are left in limbo on who will be their next president. This is because there are many aspirants for the presidential seat.
Political leaders are on their run to establish their manifestations. The deputy president has declared UDA to be his party and that be will run for presidency come next year. The LSK President has alleged that the party of choice is ANC. He has also alleged that Mudavadi is fit for presidency. That Mudavadi will ensure democracy is upheld. Member of Parliament of Matungu has also alleged the same thing.
