Wajackoya claimed he had gathered information that the debate organizers are currently conducting a poll to divide the presidential aspirants into two in terms of their popularity, just like they did during the Nairobi County gubernatorial debate.
He explained that the grouping will see him debate with Waihiga Mwaure in the first tier and Ruto to debate with Raila in the second tier, something he rubbished.
Wajackoya declared that if the grouping happens, he will be left with no other option than to snub the event.
He claimed that he will only attend the debate only if all the presidential aspirants will share the podium.
"I have information from those who are organizing the presidential debate that they will hold a so-called mini poll so that they can pair Raila with Ruto and me with Mwaure... Does it mean that we (Wajackoya and Mwaure) are the last remnants of the society? I want is to have a face to face debate with Raila and Ruto," he affirmed.
