Kithure Kindiki, the new Cabinet Secretary for the Interior, has spoken out about his experiences since taking over for Dr. Fred Matiangi.
The quiet CS has admitted that things have been difficult for his family since he took over from his predecessor, particularly for his wife and children.
He mentioned that he had to get up every day of the week at 3:30 a.m. According to him, he had to get up at that time to read security briefs from all around the country.
The briefs begin arriving at precisely 4 am, so he has to get up at 3:30 am to be ready in time.

Despite his early rise, he doesn't go to bed until well after 10 p.m.
Fortunately, the CS reported that he and his family have adjusted to the change.
"I have to be at work by 4 am every day, so I have to get up at 3:30 am to start reading security briefings. My bedtime is strictly after 10:00 p.m. My family and I have not had an easy time of it, but we are making due "TV 47 has cited the CS.
