"I have been in this house even in the worst of times when we never used to greet each other as colleagues, there is not time that a Senator used to insult the speaker." said the majority leader.

The majority leader further stated that there is need for Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna to be taught how to behave in Parliament. "Minority leader, please teach Senator Edwin Sifuna how to behave in Parliament because this is not the only time he has abused the speaker." stated Senator Aaron Cheruiyot.

In the heated debate, the Nairobi Senator was told to get out of the Senate after it became difficult for the speaker to contain him. Senator Edwin Sifuna's action moved the Majority whip Boni Khalwale to even move a motion that seeks to suspend the Nairobi Senator from seeing in the Senate.
