President of the Republic of Kenya His Excellency Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta has joined other world leaders in mourning the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Phillip who passed away on Friday 9th April.

President Kenyatta Kenyatta mourned the Duke as a symbol of family values and the unity of the the British people as well as the entire global community.
He further added that the world is mourning a great man who cherished and worked for peaceful coexistence of human race.
The president of the Republic of Tanzania Samia Suluhu Hassan is among other leaders who have mourned Prince Philip.
Penning her condolence message in a post on her Twitter account President Suluhu said that they stand with the people of the United Kingdom during this difficult time of mourning.

Prince Phillip death at the age of 99 marks the end of a seven decade marriage to Queen Elizabeth whom he married in his 20s before she became Queen of England.
