Fresh details have now emerged on a position that the former prime minister Raila Odinga is set to be given ahead of the next five years. According to the emerging reports, there is a possibility of Raila Odinga making a comeback in the 13th parliament alongside Martha Karua. Sabina Chege, a contender for the Jubilee party's parliamentary candidacy, has put Kenyans in absolute perplexity after openly saying that former president Uhuru Kenyatta ditched Raila Odinga and favoured William Ruto to become the 5th president of the republic of Kenya. Many Kenyans know that despite Uhuru Kenyatta being seen campaigning for Raila Odinga in the Mountain area, this is not the whole truth.

Recently the DP Gachagua made the remarks shortly after Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei renewed his calls for state corporations to desist from openly disputing the second in command as it amounted to ridicule. This comes after Patrick Njoroge differed with Gachagua over the alleged attempts by the former government to control the Foreign Exchange Reserves in the country.
