"PRESIDENT Uhuru Kenyatta expected to tour Machakos county tomorrow (Tuesday) accompanied by Kalonzo Musyoka, to be received by the top county leadership" Kambaland
This comes barely a month after president Uhuru Kenyatta held a meeting with the lower Eastern region leaders on 14th June 2021 as he had planned to tour the region on 28th and 29th June although the prior plans were scuttled for unknown reasons to the general public.
Uhuru's tour in Eastern region will pacify the ongoing government projects and install the new ones that will consequently be beneficial into the ordinary Kenyans. Eastern Region leaders had complained about being sidelined and neglected since 2018 from the time the head of state and the former prime minister emerged with the famous handshake that has tapped a series of divided opinions across the country.
Uhuru will inspect the Construction of Thwake Dam, Launch Kibwezi-Kitu road, commission Konza Technopolis in Makueni among other several projects in Ukambani region.
