UDA Issues Certificate to Bungoma Senatorial Candidate ahead of the Coming By-Elections

Moses Wetangula was elected Speaker of National Assembly rendering Bungoma senate seat vacant. By elections are set to be conducted on December and Ruto Led Party, United Democratic Alliance (UDA) is in the race, having fronted a candidate to vie for the selat.

Today Saturday the Party through it's National Elections Board Chairman, Anthony Mwaura has issued certificates to various candidates hoping to vie in various seats in the coming by elections.

The Candidates who have received certificate included Mwambu Mabonga who is set to fly the UDA's flag in the Bungoma Senatorial race.

Bungoma County has been known to be Wetangula's stronghold. However it is yet to be clear whether his party FORD-Kenya will front a candidate or whether they will resolve to support UDA's Candidate.

Othe Candidates who received certificate included MCA Candidates namely Samson Kahui Ngure (Utawala), Samuel Towett (Oloimasani), Gideon Munyithia Macirice (Thaana/Kyome), and Shikolio Yasin Ali (Mumias North).

The event was held at Party Headquarters and Webuye West Mp Dan Wanyama was Present. Also present were Ummir Bashir (UDA vice Chairman, Aurelia Rono and Halake Dida.
