Nitawaambia Vile Kulienda, What Uhuru Promised to Secretly Tell Central Leaders Behind Cameras

On Monday, President Uhuru Kenyatta met a number of Kirinyaga county leaders at Sagana State lodge ahead of Mashujaa Day celebrations in the county.

In what the State Hosue described as a series of official engagements with leaders, Uhuru leaders among them the county's Governor Anne Waiguru and Woman Rep Purity Ngirici to discuss preparations for Wednesday’s Mashujaa Day and a number of issues touching on Mt Kenya region.

However, according to reports, 2022 succession politics and the direction Mt Kenya region will take, took center stage. Sources privy to the meeting hinted that Uhuru almost told the leaders present what transpired between him and his Deputy William Ruto, but decided to have it for another day.

Uhuru promised that he will call for another meeting, where those present will be instructed to put their phones and cameras away before he can reveal what actually transpired between them.

"Soon I will call you for a meeting at a specific place where we will put these phones and cameras away,, then I will tell you what happened," stated Uhuru.

Uhuru also insisted on the same when he addressed masses at Rukenya, Gichugu constituency while on an inspection tour at Thiba dam. This comes at a time leaders from the Mt Kenya region have continued pressing President Uhuru Kenyatta to come out clear on what transpired between him and his deputy after the 2017 general polls.

At the same time, the head of state urged the county's leaders including Governor Anne Waiguiru, MP Purity Ngirici and PS Karanja Kibicho to bury their differences and work together as a team to achieve development and prosperity for Kirinyaga county

Governor Waiguru has already expressed clear indications of working with William Ruto's UDA party, something that has caused jitters inside Ngirici's camp, where the woman rep is looking forward to running for the governorship post using the UDA party.
