A recount of the presidential votes cast in 15 different polling places nationwide has been mandated by the Supreme Court.

The exercise is slated to start this afternoon at an undisclosed location, and the scrutinizing of the votes will take 48 hours. The test is anticipated to conclude on Thursday at 2:00 pm, and a report will be submitted to the court.

During the exercises, each party shall be represented by two agents, who may occasionally be under the direction of the Supreme Court's Registrar and her staff. By September 1, 2022, at 5 p.m., the Registrar must submit her report and make copies available to all parties.

There are several polling places, including Nandi Hills and Sinendet Primary School in Nandi County, Belgium, Kapsuser, and Chepkutum Primary Schools in Kericho County, Jomvu, Mikindani, and Ministry of Water Tanks Polling Stations in Mombasa County, Mvita, Majengo, and Mvita Primary Schools in Mombasa County, Tinderet CONMO in Nandi County, and Jarok, Gathanji, and Kiheo.

A copy of IEBC's technological system security policy, including its password policy, password matrix, owners of system administration passwords, system users, and access levels, has also been ordered by the court to be sent to Azimio.
