Rarieda constituency legislator Dr Otiende Amolo, who is a top ally to the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party leader Raila Odinga, has finally revealed out when their journey to 'Canaan' is expected to end.
Speaking at a funeral function in Kogello village, Dr Amolo said that the journey to the promised land 'Canaan' where Kenyans will experience good leadership and services delivery from their government, is only expected to end up when the ODM leader Raila Odinga will be elected and legally sworn in as the President is the Republic of Kenya.
He continued by saying that as long as the ODM leader is yet to be legally sworn in as the President of the republic of Kenya. He added that the journey is still on and they are fighting for him until the time which he will be elected by Kenyans and then legally sworn in to take over power of this country.
"I want to assure you that our journey to 'Canaan' is still on. It will only end the day when Raila Odinga will be elected and legally sworn in a the President of Kenya." He said. The MP did not say exactly when the journey is intended to end, meaning that it might go even beyond the upcoming general elections in 2022.
