Opinion: Is Raila-Ruto Alliance A Direct Ticket For Mudavadi To State House?

I wonder where some people get this notion that if Raila comes together with Ruto Mudavadi will easily carry the day.

The reason they're giving is that if Ruto joins Raila or vice versa Central will move to Mudavadi..

Let me remind those spreading that notion that in 2007 Raila worked with Ruto and they managed to defeat Kibaki without Central votes.

In 2013 Raila without Kalenjins & kikuyus managed to defeat uhuruto pair hands down and so in 2017..What I am trying to say here is that this country can have a president without Central/Kikuyu factor

I want to defuse this notion that if Raila join hands with Ruto all kikuyus will shift to Musalia..And if that's what we Luhyas are praying to happen then we benefit from it, I am sorry to say that politics is NOT viewed that way.

Let us try to build our own political base by selling our candidate across the country instead of waiting to benefit from what we're NOT sure of..How sure are we that kikuyus will shift to Mudavadi?.

May be there'll be another coalition where they can decide to land..This central people are NOT trusted partners you can bank on politically..Do you remember what Musalia's running mate Mr. Kioni did to him?.I am saying this because I have heard some of us in different forums celebrating that if Ruto joins Raila Musalia will easily take the seat.

The first huddle that's before us is to try to convince OKA members to give Musalia a ticket to fly their flag.

This is very important because I have heard some people saying if Mudavadi will NOT be the OKAs flag bear better vote for Ruto..Let us NOT have fixed mind that it must be our own because this is a coalition where also others want to be torch bearer too.

What'll happen if their tribes also say if it's NOT our man then we'll not vote??.We must be committed to this coalition if we want to be trusted politically.
