CS Kithure Kindiki, interior
The most recent changes to the interior ministry were abruptly revealed a few days ago by the ministry of interior and coordination, which is led by professor Kithure Kindiki.
All eight of the regional commissioners who were chosen during former president Uhuru Kenyatta's administration had their positions changed, according to a gazette notification the ministry released.
Before being fired from their previous jobs, the regional commissioners met one-on-one with the president at the state house. They exchanged pleasantries and agreed that no reorganization was in the works.
It is claimed that the regional commissioners were unprepared.
According to reports, one of them admitted to a buddy that they had not anticipated any of the adjustments because of how amicable the meeting had been.
The mega reshuffle has allegedly sent shockwaves amongst officers in lower ranks and and related departments. This has made the officers in the lower cadres be on the edge over the fear that such an occurence may happen to them in the near future.
