"Intelligence Reports Have Shown Ruto Won't Win" Ngunjiri Makes New Allegations Ahead of The August Polls

Kenyans have been told that Deputy President William Ruto will finish his term in office. Nominated MP Gideon Keter has said that Ruto will not resign so that he can remain protected by the Presidential Escort Unit and continue being a "good watchman" while within the government.

"The DP is still in office to enjoy the perks. He has 300 security officers. All the vehicles he has are fuelled by the government. The State paid for his tour to United States and United Kingdom. There is no way he can resign because he is enjoying privileges while still aware that he is not working but carrying out his campaigns," Jubilee director of elections Kanini Kega stated.

Kieni MP Kanini Kega added that Ruto does not want to leave office because he is still accessing important information adding that he is fully aware of what will happen in August.

The Nyeri Town Member of Parliament Ngunjiri Wambugu has also criticized the Deputy President William Ruto saying that he cannot leave office because it can negatively impact on his campaigns. Ngunjiri alleges that DP Ruto's campaigns are usually covered by his official budget.

Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu further alleges that intelligence reports have shown the Deputy President William Ruto that he will not win the August presidential contest. Ngunjiri however alleges that DP Ruto's goal is to remain in office in order to built his political capacity.
