Sabot Constituency is one of the Constituencies of Trans Nzoia County.
Currently,the Constituency is headed by an ODM legislature Caleb Amis,He emerged victorious after defeating Jubilee's Jonas Kuko on a very close range.
With many politicians defecting from ruling party Jubilee to UDA,Jonas Kuko is among those who joined Deputy President's UDA. It's now evident that Kuko will be seeking elections on the party's ticket but he has to go through nominations.
Among those interested in seeking nominations on UDA party ticket for Parliamentarian position is Tuwani MCA Benard Wambwa. Wambwa will be seeking to be promoted from his current position to Parliamentarian position only if he will manage to defeat Kuko.
As we awaits for UDA's nominations,even if Wambwa defeats Kuko,he will still need to pull up his political socks as he will be facing other political heavy weights like Pepela who came third in the previous elections,he will also face DAP K aspirant and the current parliamentarian who will be seeking Second term of service. It's now evident that either Jonas or Wambwa to be UDA's flag bearer since they are the only people shown interest in seeking party nominations.
