Latest polls by Mizani Africa have shown through their survey that Granton Samboja will take an early lead and retain his seat as the most preferred candidate for the Gubernatorial seat in Taita Taveta County if elections were held today. He is leading with 49.2% of the total votes. John Mrutu comes second with 22.1%.
This poll presents good news to the incumbent Governor Granton seeking reelection to office in the forthcoming August general elections. It is a reflection of satisfactory performance by the governor ahead of the general elections.
Residents of Taita Taveta are looking forward to exercising their democratic right on the ballot. It's just a matter of time to tell if Granton Will lead as it is in the polls.
