According to Rigathi Gachagua, Kenya Kwanza's deputy President presidential running mate, Kenyans will probably know who would be their next president before the deadline.
This is happening even while the IEBC is announcing the presidential results each constituency, a method that has been criticized for being overly long and laborious.
The announcement, according to the departing Mathira MP, could occur tomorrow, and Kenyans might be aware of their next president by Sunday night.
But he also adds that this will only occur if the Azimio La Umoja coalition's agents quit interfering with the proceedings.
The outcome of the presidential election should be declared before the end of tomorrow (Sunday), he stated on Saturday, "if the pace is maintained and they are restrained from imposing further unnecessary delays."
He believes that the reason the process is becoming more difficult and time-consuming for the authorities is because Azimio agents won't let IEBC officials freely work.
Additionally, he has stated that he is confident that his side will be declared the winner, making Ruto the next President. He claims that everyone can see this.
"Add the numbers using a basic calculator to determine the winner so that the National Returning Officer's pronouncement is just a formality. Ike Mbele Sawa "He is quoted once more.
