One Kenya Alliance party leader, Musalia Mudavadi of the Amani National Congress, and Wiper Party leader Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka of the Wiper Party have broken the silence on internal party wranglings that have been circulating. Both objected to what they saw as gimmicks aimed at disbanding the coalition and portraying OKA leaders as non-starters in the presidential election.
According to separate interviews done by private sources with Kalonzo and Mudavadi, both have stated that there are gimmicks geared at dismantling the OKA organization and portraying other leaders as non-starters in the Presidential contest.
“What I can confirm is that there are forces of doom determined to sow seeds of discord within OKA. But the spirit of OKA is alive and our vision to unite this country for shared prosperity is even clearer today than when we first came together,” Kalonzo told the paper on phone from an undisclosed location overseas, where he is on a private visit.
They both agreed that OKA is still intact and that no plans to dissolve the party are in the works. They insisted that they want to rule the country following Uhuru's departure next year, and that they will choose a flagbearer soon.
