Machakos MP Victor Munyaka Welcomes Mutua After Accompanying Ruto & KAA to Machakos

Machakos member of parliament Victor Munyaka is among Deputy President William Ruto's allies from Ukambani who attended the Tala Rally that was hosted by Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua and brought on board Ruto and other Kenya Kwanza Alliance, KAA, leaders.

Taking to his Twitter Page in the evening, Munyaka welcomed Mutua to KKA, expressing confidence that it is the team that will win the August polls and form the next government.

"We are each other's harvest, we are each other's business, we are each other's magnitude and bond. UDA Party we believe in unity of purpose. The Kamba community will be in the next Government. Karibu Dr Alfred Mutua to Kenya Kwanza. Tala was good thanks," he tweeted.

Another leader from Ruto's side who attended the rally was Mwala MP Vincent Kawaya, while the others led by the UDA Chairman and who is seeking to succeed Mutua in the August polls snubbing the rally a move that was stated as a protest towards Mutua's decision to join KKA.

In a report by the Nation, the leaders met at Muthama's home in Machakos Town, with the coordinator of Ruto's campaigns in Makueni, Kitui and Machakos counties Moses Banda leading the team.

There is uncertainty on how Ruto's campaigns will be coordinated now that UDA and the Maendelo Chap Chap are on the same page, and have already nominated candidates ahead of the August polls.
