Addressing congregants at Ng’elechom Free Pentecostal Church and Outreach Baptist Church respectively in Chakol North Ward, Teso South Sub County on Sunday, the seasoned politician said residents will decide whether he retires from active politics or he proceeds with the journey.
“We are expecting major changes once the Building Bridges Initiative Constitution Amendment Bill sails through parliament. After that process you will decide wether you want me to continue serving you at the next level,” said Ojaamong.
Other positions tagging along BBI include Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Ministers and Assistant Ministers.
HE Ojaamong who has been in politics since 2002 served as Member of Parliament for the larger Amagoro before his current role as Busia Governor now on his second mandated term.
In the same breath, the county boss challenged residents to come out and seek elective seats abound in the County.
He mentioned that the seat of Deputy Governor, Senator and Woman Representative remain up for grabs after holders of these positions indicated scaling up the ladder.
