In the latest development from KICC, Azimio la Umoja has fronted one of their co-principal to the position. Martha Karua alluded that they control the majority in parliament and therefore will produce the majority leader and the national assembly speaker.
Kalonzo, has not given a statement over the same. Reporting the news KTN news says sources indicate that Kalonzo has shelfed his ambition of becoming the chief minister. Instead, he has opted to go for the national assembly speaker.
This is a new twist which gives a guess on what people expect. Meanwhile, Azimio la Umoja coalition party has resolved to move to court. They will be contesting the presidential result in the supreme Court.
