Inside Strike Within Azimio That Made It Easy For Ruto To Succeed In His Plans Against Cherera Four

Differences and fallout within Raila's Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya coalition party is far from ending after it emerged that a number of the members of Parliament elected on the Coalition’s party ticket are currently on strike.

According to reliable sources, a number of lawmakers are still bitter with the Coalition’s leadership on how the house leadership and committee membership selection was done. They claim that the process was bias and sidelined certain individuals.

This has made them to deliberately skip major sittings where voting is needed, this has made it easier for the Kenya Kwanza Alliance to pass major bills.

This is said to have contributed to the smooth passage of JLAC report on the rebellious Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission commissioners Cherera, Nyang'aya, Wanderi, and Masit who have since been suspended by President Wiliam Ruto.

The strike also made it easy for Kenya Kwanza to easily pass the bill seeking to change the recruitment process of the IEBC Commissioners ahead of the exit of Chebukati and his team.

The Azimio members of Parliament on strike have since stated that those placed in various committees are the ones who should be voting.
