Mumias East Member of Parliament Peter Salasya has reacted to the resignation of Silas Jakakimba from the ODM party. Jakakimba announced his resignation on Saturday, two weeks after his spat with Winnie Odinga. Jakakimba served in the ODM party as an advisor at Odinga's Secretariat.
Salasya has now come out to tell Jakakimba that they are not bothered that he has decided to resign. Salasya said that Jakakimba was a con and Azimio was very happy to have liberated themselves from him. He revealed how he used to swindle money from candidates to enrich himself. Salasya then said that with the absence of Jakakimba ODM will make a positive progress.
"Relief for ODM as the highest con who used to swindle money from candidates and anyone who ever thought to use odm ticket gets out ..congratulations to ODM for liberating yourselves from this man .For any positive progress you have to let some egocentric pple to leave," Salasya said.
Although Jakakimba has not announced his next move on whether he will stay in Azimio or not, speculations have it that he may ditch Raila's camp for Kenya Kwanza.
