The pro president Uhuru Kenyatta legislators have been changing tune every time and then, leaving their followers confused on which group they will support finally. Fierce kieleweke ally Ngunjiri Wambugu has once again listed the new discussion within the Mt Kenya leaders in which he says they are no longer focussing on who the Mt Kenya will vote for. According to the Nyeri Town member of Parliament, the focus is now on the interest of the region, what the presidential candidates will do for the people of Mt Kenya once elected.
Ngunjiri has also rubbished allegations that the region has been promised positions in government saying they are only focusing on the fundamental issues of development.
Ngunjiri has said that they have defined the region's development goals as the extra ksh 53 billion extra resources, protection of endangered constituencies, possible increase of constituencies, equal opportunities for government access, economic empowerment and respect for their leaders.
